Take Up Space, Amiga!
A support group for early career Latinx women.
Are you a Latinx woman needing space to process your experience as you navigate your career? Do you wish to build community with other badass women who are ready to engage in healing conversations about what it’s like to be in spaces that were not created for us and from which we are often excluded from? If so, the Take Up Space support group may be an important space for your healing journey.
Join me for an 8-week support group designed to discuss what it is like to be in spaces in which we are underrepresented and often leaves us questioning whether we deserve to be part of them. This then gets amplified by the microaggressions and white supremacy embedded in systems of oppression, especially as we develop our careers. In this support group, we will discuss how we can not only survive in these spaces but also thrive by lifting each other up because our existence, voice, and talents matter!
My hope is that as we share this space and engage in these important conversations, we lean into vulnerability with self-compassion and a lens of curiosity as we hold each other's unique journeys.
DISCLAIMER: While the space will be facilitated by a psychologist, this is NOT therapy. While these conversations are much needed, and can be healing in nature, it is not meant to replace the relationship with your own therapist.
