Black, Indigenous, and Women of Color (BIWOC) face unique challenges that can greatly impact their mental health. Finding the appropriate support to meet your distinctive needs can add to the feelings of fear, stress and anxiety from having to seek help in a world that silences us and conditions us to believe we are to be the caretakers. I truly believe in the healing power of connecting with a therapist who can deeply understand and resonate with your experiences.

I am committed to creating a space where you feel safe, seen, and comfortable in rediscovering your inherent internal wisdom. Too many times we are told to stay small, to care for everyone’s needs but your own, que si calladita te ves más bonita (you look prettier when you are quiet.) We also deal with messages about how we ‘should’ show up in the world which leaves us struggling with feeling like we will never be good enough and with imposter syndrome at its max. And as more and more conversations are happening about healing and self-love, they often leave out the complexity of experiences of Black, Indigenous, and Women of Color.

My hope is that through our conversations, you feel empowered to create a life in which you can show up fully and boldly. Together, we will find ways of challenging these harmful messages and create daily habits that will allow you to live your life according to your values, hopes, and dreams!
